Pediatric Nurse since 2013 Mama of two and Pediatric Sleep Consultant

As a pediatric nurse and mama of two, I have extensive experience in sleep, including for babies with medical needs. I am also finishing up my Masters degree and have completed lots of research and projects related to sleep. I have experienced it all from newborns to toddler negotiations (my daughter is a master negotiator!). I blend my nursing experience, my personal experience, and my sleep education to provide you with the best outcome possible. I will tailor my approach to ensure the best results for your unique child. Your baby does not have to be left crying to be able to sleep!

I have been in your shoes, exhausted, frustrated, scared, anxious, you name it- I felt it. I knew as a nurse the sleep deprivation was not good for any of us and I knew I had to do something. I found a virtual training and taught myself everything I needed to know. It worked great and my daughter was and still is an excellent sleeper.

Once my son was born I was confident and prepared but he decided to prove me wrong. After needing major surgery and needing intensive care, he went from an excellent sleeper to up every few hours all night long. Naps were terrible too. I was so exhausted, so stressed, and I didn't know what to do. I spent countless hours researching all the methods and finally found something that worked for him and his medical needs. Fast forward and he is now sleeping through the night again even with a helmet!

I had always loved educating parents at the hospital and friends/family but struggling with my son inspired me to take it further. I don't want families to experience the feelings I felt. I dreaded bedtime and I wasn't sure how I was going to handle it especially with a toddler. I would work so hard to get him to bed only for him to wake 30 minutes later and then my toddler would cry because I had to leave her to help him. It was impacting our entire family mentally and I knew through my nursing education and all my research for my Masters degree that it was impacting our physical health as well.  I made a change and we are all so thankful. Not only do I know my babies are getting the sleep they need to learn and grow but my husband and I are healthier and are more present for our family.

My Philosophy

I am passionate about not only helping your child sleep but helping you feel supported through parenthood. You do not need to be exhausted, stressed, depressed, overwhelmed, etc. You deserve to be well rested and present for your family.

There are so many sleep methods, so we will work together to find the best one for you all. There are so many myths around sleep training and what it is. We are not leaving your baby to cry but instead are using data to find their natural circadian rhythm and then building on that to help them learn how to connect sleep cycles in a gentle, supportive, and loving way.
